"Maxfield Parish...one of our area's most dynamic acts".
Maxfield Parish held their own with Bad Company, Pat Travers and Ric Derringer at our annual "Hutchfest." Without hesitation, I can recommend this band for any situation anywhere
LIVE REVIEW - As proof in the pudding, Maxfield Parish touts a tight and strong stage show. Personally placing their material in the lap of the audience, this rocking quartet delivers its ballads with reverence and passion, its rockers with outright power and everything else just right. With stage antics more Kamikaze than teamwork, the guys spread a contagious sense of audacity.
What a fun night this was at the Tattoo Bar. And what a great line-up! Maxfield Parish started off in a rocking fashion. Johny Kar has a crystal clear voice. The surprise (for me) was that the band has 3 good vocalists - J. C. Harmon (bassist) and Stevie, who did a great job on "In Dreams".
With over thirty plus bands appearing at Thunderfest, highlights included Maxfield Parish with their tight power rock style.
O’Riley’s, 3/04/06
O’Riley’s recovered from their hip-hop night by slinging some tight and talented rock bands together. Maxfield Parish warmed the crowd with imagination and musicianship, playing instrumental storybook tales.
Under a punishing 108-degree sun, locals Maxfield Parish got this night of true heavy metal rolling on the side stage. The band spun through originals as well as songs like Black Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell", Deep Purple's "Knocking at Your Back Door" and their utterly original cover of James Taylor's "Fire and Rain"....
